Intermediate QA to test functionalities of applications and platforms including Salesforce - 2022-630V-023

Location: Brampton - Hybrid - 2 days onsite

Duration: 1-year contract

35 hours/week - 7 hours/day

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality and its performance.
• Identify and report software defects, issues, and risks in a clear and concise manner using defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Work closely with the development team to reproduce and verify reported issues and track defect resolution progress.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data, to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Participate in test environment setup, including configuration and deployment of software components.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.

Must Haves:

• 3 years as a Quality Assurance Analyst
• Manual and automated testing techniques and tools (e.g. Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium)
• Write and maintain automated test scripts
• Defect tracking systems and test management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps Test Plans)
• Git, Jenkins
• Certification: ISTQB foundation, CSTE, CAST, CTFL, or CSQA.

Nice to Have:

• Testing Salesforce applications and platforms
• Experience with software projects using agile project management methodology, including processes for tracking requirements via user stories and related acceptance criteria, and tools to facilitate that (e.g. Microsoft Azure DevOps, or other similar tools)
