- 2+ years’ experience in cloud-based software delivery (Azure, AWS, or GCP preferred).
- Strong experience in DevOps environments, understanding CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent (e.g., CSPO, PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, CDAP, CLP).
- Strong facilitation skills for Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
- Experience working at the enterprise level in highly integrated and complex environments.
- Ability to interpret and apply Agile metrics to optimize performance and inform decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM fields.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in aviation, transportation, or real-time data systems
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud-edge computing architectures
Responsibilities:
- Lead, guide, and coach Agile teams through the development lifecycle to deliver high-impact, operational solutions.
- Ensure teams adopt Agile best practices (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches) that minimize overhead, improve collaboration, and maximize delivery value.
- Promote an outcomes-driven approach, leveraging automation, data analytics, and emerging technologies to optimize team efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX designers, and data scientists, to ensure seamless integration with YVR's technology ecosystem.
- Drive continuous improvement by incorporating learning from sprint reviews and retrospectives into actionable enhancements.
- Act as a servant leader, removing impediments, fostering a growth mindset, and ensuring teams stay motivated and engaged.
- Ensure stakeholders actively participate in Agile ceremonies, providing data-driven insights to measure team performance, solution stability, and overall productivity.
- Provide real-time reporting and Agile metrics, enabling better decision-making at the program and executive level.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., CBSA, airlines, NAV CANADA) to align development with YVR’s broader operational strategies.
- Drive agility at scale, identifying opportunities to apply SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks where beneficial.
- Represent ITG with external stakeholders and agencies as required.
- Stay informed of emerging trends and technologies, ensuring YVR's Digital Twin solutions remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Perform other related duties, ad hoc assignments, and contribute to special projects as needed.
