Our valued public sector client is looking for an Intermediate Technical Support Specialist (5+ years), to respond to service requests and provide troubleshooting for special projects and daily operations.

Flexible Hybrid - 2x/week in the National Capital Region.

Tasks include:

  • Troubleshoot, identify, and effect corrective action across an array of telecommunications services such as wireless data, smartphones, VoIP and voice services
  • Support telecom deployment for high-priority & high-visibility events using proprietary inventory and management system (training on specific tools will be provided)
  • Respond to a high volume of tickets to address surges in onboarding, as well as surges in even-related telephony needs
  • Support set up of remote offices and installations with the support of vendors, as well as ongoing troubleshooting
  • Add, move, and physically repair telephone lines in a structured cabling environment

Must haves:

  • Bilingual
  • Security clearance with the Government of Canada
  • 5+ years experience in a technical support role
  • Experience troubleshooting mobile/cellular devices

Nice to haves:

  • M365 troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with: Bell Total Connect, Wireless Devices (LTE Modems, Samsung Devices), Mobile Device Platforms
