Jr. Project Control Officer to help manage Cyber Security projects with our Public Sector client - RQ00128

Duration: 6 months

Location: Hybrid - 2 days/week in Downtown Toronto

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages assigned tasks to contribute to the delivery of Security Projects.
• Supports Project Managers /Senior Project managers through all stages of definition, procurement, and implementation, and ensures adherence to technical and quality requirements, budget, schedule, and approvals.
• Ensuring project team adheres to provided timelines and deliverables.
• Ensuring documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project.
• Communicating plans, actions, risks, and issues with key stakeholders
• Solving any issues that may arise during the project.
• Managing and building relationships with multiple teams
• Assisting the Project Manager with administrative functions and processes
• Managing day-to-day activities for the Project Management team
• Analysing project data and producing progress reports

Must haves:

• 2+ years of experience as a Project Control Officer
• 2+ years of experience with managing cyber-security projects
• Experience with Microsoft Projects, Azure DevOps, and MS Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management or a related field.

Nice to haves:

• Previous Public Sector experience
• Experience managing IT Infrastructure projects.
