Description
Our utilities client is seeking a Junior Network Security Analyst to do asset patching, create and progress ticket workflows, coordinate with IT provider, and support access provisioning - 21356
Initially a 12-months contract. Hybrid working model 2 days/week in Burnaby. 37.5 hrs/week.
Must Have:
- 2+ years of working experience in IT Security/Network Security
- Network and systems technologies including firewalls, IPSEC, SNMPv3, Syslog, and TCP/IP Routing
- Experience creating technical documents involving requirements, designs, as built, and procedures as well as provide NERC administrative documentation support to contribute to the standardization of security processes
Responsibilities:
- OT and Windows OS, Linux and Firewalls asset patching in production
- Prepare patch implementation plan
- Prepare and progress ticket workflows
- Able to track and schedule own tasks to completion
- Communicate risks/concerns and suggest task improvements to work leader
- Execute work in efficient manner
- QA patching results performed by 3rd party
- Provision user access requests
- Prepare technical documentation and patch evidence implementation
- Host meetings, document decision and collaborate with the business, vendors, and team members
- Update standard operating procedures to support business operations as it relates to tasks being worked on
- Excellent organization skills and detail oriented approach.
