Our large energy client is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Manager to lead cyber teams.

This is a permanent position and candidate must be willing to work in office Tuesday-Thursday and work remotely Mondays and Fridays.

Must haves:

• 10+ years in leadership roles (5+ years recently a cyber focus)
• Experience leading and developing enterprise-level Identity & Access Management practices (including IT/OT, Operations, cyber incident response, security risk management & governance)
• 5+ years managing internal and external stakeholders

Nice to haves:

• Security related certifications will be considered an asset
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and creative thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Support safety culture of “Zero by Choice” and the “Life Saving Rules”
• Manage internal and external teams to ensure SLA’s, risks, and efficiencies are being met
• Proactive Threat Management (identifying potential threats and implementing strategies to mitigate them. This includes staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, and ensuring the team is well-equipped to handle them)
• Incident Response Leadership: Effectively manage the situation. This includes coordinating the response efforts, making critical decisions under pressure, and communicating effectively with both the team and stakeholders
• Mature the Identity Practice creating alignment and opportunities with internal and external stakeholders such as Information Services Unit, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Business Applications leads and Owners etc.
• Accountable as the Delivery Manager for cyber security operations and Identity-related projects and initiatives
• Manage annual and monthly Cyber budget cycles
• Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
