S.i. Systems boutique consulting client is seeking a Part-time HYBRID Senior Reporting Lead to translate business to technical requirements for conversion from legacy reporting system to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP


Hybrid - must be able to accommodate meetings in Yaletown and near Lonsdale Quay (North Vancouver)

Part-time - approx 20 hours / week - may be an opportunity to take on more hours from other clients

1 year contract


MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • 10+ years experience as a business analyst / reporting specialist
  • Experience refining enterprise business reporting requirements for an ERP modernization project


NICE TO HAVE:

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience


JOB DUTIES:

  • Lead the rationalizing of new reporting needs and conversion of reporting from legacy system to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system and provide a final list of required operational, financial, regulatory, and analytics reports for future state.
  • Work with business teams to document detailed report requirements into functional specifications for all reports to be used during the progressive build cycles of the implementation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions regarding technology-related projects, including scope, system requirements, testing, and implementation.
  • Effectively translate complex business requirements into technical requirements.

Understand inter-departmental reporting requirements, design reporting models, and roll out various reports aligning with the Data security.

  • Support strategy for deploying designing and building reports using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP’s OTBI, BI Publisher.
  • Manage technical delivery resources supporting report development, testing, deployment activities in onshore/offshore model.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders, Business Stakeholders, IT and project teams to create and manage Fusion Oracle Cloud based reporting solutions.
  • Work closely with senior business leaders and users to determine the reporting requirements.
  • Lead projects and change requests which involves heavy team collaboration between Functional leaders, Business stakeholders, IT and/or other areas as appropriate.
  • Work with Security and Compliance team to define and build structure that defines roles/privileges and to control report access.
  • Understand inter-departmental reporting requirements, design reporting models, and roll out various reports aligning with the Data security.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders, application managers, IT, and project teams to create and manage Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP based reporting solutions with a creative mind and innovative focus.
  • Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting tools (OTBI & BIP). Assist in development of standard reports, dashboards, compliance reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Document report distribution requirements and develop an overall internal/external delivery schedule.
  • Design, development, and maintenance of ongoing KPIs, metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
  • Monitor, respond and resolve tickets and issues submitted by users, ability to perform RCA on critical tickets/incidents.
  • Train and mentor team members and management to understand BI Publisher and assist with development of BI Publisher data models, templates & reports
