Our valued public sector client requires a Secret Cleared Senior OpenShift Platform Analyst (10+years) specializing in OpenShift cluster administration, to provide day-to-day operations, installation, maintenance and support services for ongoing operations and projects related to OpenShift on VMware and Bare metal on premise for the Government of Canada Secret Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics on the cluster
• Monitoring of the ticketing systems and responding to Incident Reports (IRs), Request for Changes (RFCs) and Solution Requests (SRs);
• Create and manage custom container images, design container images to containerize applications and deploy applications to Container Platform.
• Configure and implement microservices using different frameworks and configure and implement Service Mesh.
• Customize application builds and implement post-commit build hooks.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and manage GitOps automation which include infrastructure and application
• Backup and restore critical data for the cluster and Manage operating system resources to keep the clusters running efficiently.
• Configure the LDAP and other authentication security providers
• Configure Security Compliance Operator and security policies with Advanced Cluster Security (ACS) and Quay;
• Install, configure and upgrade OpenShift on VMWare and/or Bare Metal.
• Automate the work in support of the above tasks with various automation tools.

Must Haves:

• Federal Government Secret Clearance
• Experience for 3 years in the last 5 implementing development and production container solutions with openshift
• Experience for 3 years in the last 5 defining, creating, installing, securing, maintaining and upgrading OpenShift Container Platform.
• Experience for 3 years in the last 5 implementing automation
• Experience for 5 years in the last 8 working with Unix or Linux

Nice to Haves:

• Red Hat OpenShift certification EX-280 or higher
• Shared Services Canada Experience
