Senior Application Deployment Resources for Hospital Redevelopment Projects - Project Manager, Business Analysts, Clinical Informaticists, Architects - SOW

S.i. Systems enterprise public health authorities client supports all major hospital development projects. Several are currently in progress. This journey of progress and investment currently totals over $6.5 billion across the region. These investments include:

• Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) Redevelopment; a multi-phase project for the redevelopment of the entire RCH campus. Currently in Phase 2, and projected to continue through 2030 for all planned work.
• Burnaby Hospital (BH) Redevelopment; a multi-phase project for the redevelopment of the entire BH campus. Currently with Phase 1 in construction with expected completion in 2025 and Phase 2 in final procurement and projected to continue to 2030.
• New Surrey Hospital and Cancer Centre (NSHCC) hospital development; a single-phase hospital construction project. Projected to be completed in 2030.
• A new acute care tower at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH); the construction of an additional acute care tower on the existing SMH campus. This has recently been announced; early planning underway.

ALL ROLES REQUIRE A HEAVY ONSITE PRESENCE AT THE HOSPITAL SITES

ROLES:

Senior Project Managers

• PM's oversee design, planning and implementation of Clinical, Medical Application Deployment Projects
• scope, planning, coordination of applications to open hospital (see list above)
• oversee configuration, testing, and move into production
• coordinate with delivery partners (such as vendors, PHSA - Technical Services)
• Prepare and issue RFPs, select vendors and solution
• IMIT production handover

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

5+ years Project Management experience in public health

• Experience with clinical information systems and medical technology.
• nice to have experience working with PHSA - Tech Services

Senior Solution Architects

Sr SA's lead and coordinate solution definition relating to new systems capabilities or use of existing clinical information systems / technology to address the clinical and operational needs of the redevelopment project.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• 10+ years experience architecting health care IM capabilities and solutions for large scale integrated information systems and redevelopment projects.

Senior Business Analysts

Sr BA's provide services primarily in analyzing business / operational models and workflows and gathering and documenting user requirements, and determining the way technology solutions can be applied to address user needs

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• 5 years of direct experience in business analyst experience on large-scale, complex systems.
• Public healthcare experience, BC Health Authority preferred

Senior Clinical Informatics Analysts

Sr Clinical Informatics Analysts provide services from the vantage point of patient care practice, standards of care, scope of clinical practice and overall site / service clinical operations.

• They work closely with clinical teams, both direct patient care and clinical support, in the analysis of care practices, patient flow and clinical workflow, to determine the way the healthcare applications systems are to be configured and deployed to address clinical and patient care needs.
• Because of their understanding of the current and new intended modes of clinical practice and workflow in the new building / spaces, they provide working knowledge in relation to computer technology, clinical change management / transformation and/or project management, clinical requirements definition (standards, data, operations).

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• 5 years of direct experience in representing clinical operations / practice on large-scale complex systems and technology projects including clinical transformation.
• Typically, clinical analysts have trained and worked in a clinical or clinical support discipline (such as nursing, RRT, pharmacy, allied health etc.)

Senior PowerApp Developers

Sr Power App Developers, in a capital redevelopment projects context, have experience conducting discovery, analysis, design, and delivering of custom software development activities. Any software development provided at Fraser Health will be undertaken in an “agile” fashion characterized by repetitive sprints in which use cases are progressively elaborated, implemented, and deployed in Fraser Health Microsoft Power Apps platform environment. Software development would be conducted from a Dev/Ops methodology in that developer would own both the development and operations for a while until the product is stabilized. Software Developer is often a generalist well versed in a variety of tools and skillsets.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• Preferred professionals have over 5 years of direct Dev/Ops system development experience
• Certification in the Power Apps platform.
