Our client is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to Design and automate a secure Azure IT environment using IaC and CI/CD.

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience managing and implementing Azure DevOps tools including Pipelines, Repos, and Boards
• 7+ years of experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices
• 7+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment pipelines
• Must be available to work onsite in Regina

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of experience integrating security and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines
• 5+ years of experience managing rollback strategies and disaster recovery within pipelines
• 5+ years of experience creating automated testing for infrastructure deployments

Description

The client is seeking a highly experienced Azure DevOps Engineer (Azure Solution Architect) to lead the design and development of the SaskNuclear Azure IT Environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automating deployment pipelines, and enforcing CI/CD practices. The role will focus on building consistent, secure, and repeatable environments through automation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Azure DevOps Repositories (Repos)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure tools
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines
• Integrate security and compliance checks into pipelines
• Manage project boards and workflows in Azure DevOps
• Create automated testing for infrastructure deployments
• Enable infrastructure monitoring and alerts
• Automate Zero Trust policy deployment
• Manage rollback strategies and disaster recovery within pipelines
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects and Security Engineers
• Document pipeline configurations and best practices
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance and scalability
