Our client is looking for a Senior Azure Platform Specialist to implement, maintain, and optimize Azure-based cloud infrastructure and services.

Duration: 1 year

Location: Remote, PST/MST hours

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and compliance with regulations like GDPR, PIPEDA, and SOC 2Manage Azure Infrastructure:
• Utilize tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, and Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and develop automation workflows using Azure DevOps for streamlined provisioning and management.
• Enhance Azure DevOps pipelines for seamless application deployments.
• Monitor and optimize costs with Azure Cost Management, recommending cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement Azure Security Center, Key Vault, and access controls (RBAC, MFA).
• Use Azure Monitor and Application Insights to optimize resource performance and health.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure documentation and provide technical support to teams.

Must Haves:

• 7+ years of experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure
• Kubernetes
• IaC tools (Bicep, ARM templates)
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD automation
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect)
