Description
Our client in the financial software solutions industry is looking for a Senior Backend Developer with Java, Node.js, and AWS experience to design and maintain high-performance backend services for their platform - 35754435
Location: Toronto - Hybrid - 3 days in office - strong potential of going 5 days.
Duration: 5 month contract
Work hours: 8 hours/ day

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the backend ecosystem of platform services
- Develop high-performance services with a focus on operational excellence.
- Gather functional requirements, develop specifications, and participate in project and test planning.
- Resolve defects and bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver against commitments.
- Work with product management, design, and business units to drive results and continuously improve processes.
- Ensure a strong commitment to team success and foster positive team dynamics.
Must Haves:
- Java
- Node.js
- Data structures and algorithms
- AWS and Kubernetes.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with server-side rendering solutions.
- Familiarity with micro-frontend technology.
