Description
Our client is seeking Senior BI Analyst with advanced PowerBI skills to develop and analyze existing Financial report for a OBIEE to PowerBI migration.
Please Note-- Successful candidate must be located in Calgary for 3 days on site work
Must Haves:
- 7+ years experience in as a BI Analyst with advanced SQL and query performance optimization skills
- 5+ years experience using PowerBI including advance skills such as:
- data modeling
- DAX
- data visualization
- Power BI embedded analytics
- 3+ years experience with Snowflake (EDW)
Nice to have:
- Power Automate
- Experience using Tableau
- OBIEE reporting tools
- Background in Data science and/or AI
Key Deliverables:
- Analyze existing legacy reports and determine value/usage
- Build reports in Power BI (Finance based model/framework)
- Gather existing report requirements
- Report test cases and execution
- Documentation and status updates: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and reporting processes. Provide regular status reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of end user reporting.
