Senior Bilingual (Spanish/English) Business Analyst to support the Global Identity and Access Management Team with one of our major banking clients- 36991


Location Address: Scarborough (Mostly remote but should be open to hybrid as a business requirement.)

Contract Duration: 1 year (Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE)

Schedule Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm, 37.5 Hours Per Week


Story Behind the Need

  • Business group: GIAM Service Management - Business Analysis
  • Bank’s Information Security & Control (IS&C) Global Identity and Access Management group is responsible for the development, management and governance of Logical Access control to the Bank’s information systems.
  • The Business Analysis & Reporting and Analytics team is a team within the Identity and Access Management group that focuses on supporting internal GIAM applications, teams and business partners from a BA perspective.


Project:

  • This large project is tasked with cleaning up (or remediating) privileged access management across multiple Active Directory domains globally. It builds upon the successful completion of 3 similar projects in 2023 and 2024. Based on these successes, bank is expanding its scope to include domains across North America and Latin America. The idea is to reduce bank risk by ensuring users have the least privileged access based on their job requirements.


Typical Day in Role:

  • Prepare Business Requirement documents, analyze data and access processes and procedures to deliver recommendations.
  • Work with Identity Access teams in implementing security controls to protect them.
  • Work on different types of projects (from large complex to simple) is a part of your DNA.
  • Collaborate with various business lines, IT support functions and IS&C Control functions.
  • Strong supporter of a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards to facilitate regular monitoring by GIAM management team
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions


Must Have Skills:

  • 9 Years of hands-on working experience in performing business requirement documents, process workflows, use cases, data analytics and preparing communications.
  • Advanced working experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Candidate must have Spanish/English proficiency.


Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft suite of applications (ie: vision, PowerPoint) PowerBI, PowerShell an asset


Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or in a related field preferred


Best VS. Average Candidate:

  • The best candidate is someone with advance MS excel skills and Bilingual (Sapanish/English)

  • 1st round - Hiring Manager & Program manager- MS team video call- 60 mins - Overview of role, previous experience, Excel test, behavioral questions. The team will be assessing both soft and technical skills.
