Senior Business Analyst to create a business requirements document for a federal government program

Our valued public sector client requires a Senior Business Analyst to create a business requirements document for a federal government program.


Tasks:


  • Work with various client subject matter experts to identify and document business and system requirements
  • Elicit requirements from business partners and document those requirements in a way that a technical team can then implement
  • Attend work shops to elicit requirements, document requirements, identify priority and assist in estimating tasks
  • Attend working group sessions and document and create minutes related to potential IT requirements
  • Verify delivered technical systems meet the documented requirements
  • Identifying and then prioritizing technical and functional requirements
  • Participate in SCRUM activities in an agile development team
  • Creation of process and information flow documents
  • Completion of project related documentation which could include the following:

- Charter, lessons learned, risk issues, business requirements document, Information management requirements, project closeout docs, benefits realization report, other project gating documents


Must-haves:


  1. 5+ years of experience building BRDs as a Business Analyst
  2. 3+ years of experience working for the Federal Government
  3. 2+ years of Agile/Scrum experience


Nice-to-have:

  • Business Analysis experience on application development projects
