Description
Our valued public sector client is in need of a Senior Business Analyst to implement existing and future IM/IT projects.
The Contractor must provide a resource that has the knowledge, experience, and the expertise to perform the following tasks which include but are not limited to:
a. Work with stakeholders to identify, refine and prioritize requirements for IM/IT systems. Formally document these requirements in a Statement of Requirements;
b. Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows;
c. Prepare and manage requirements using the SCRUM software development methodology;
d. Work with clients and support organizations to develop Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and Concept of Support (CONSUP) documents;
e. Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content and structure, and application subsystems;
f. Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems;
g. Act as a liaison between the client, other stakeholders and the project team, ensuring that requirements are understood, questions are addressed to the correct person and the responses are documented;
h. Provide progress updates against identified requirements and assigned tasks;
i. Documented descriptions of changes to be implemented for use in communiques, release notes, etc…;
j. Work with clients to collect and refine wording do be used on project developed web sites and software;
k. Coordinate the translation of text, with internal Government of Canada translation services. Note: Fluency in French is not required;
l. Establish user acceptance test criteria with clients;
