Our public client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead business and system assessments and enterprise transformation projects to enhance and support IBM Maximo, EAM domain



Note: Hybrid, 3 days a week in Marine Drive, Vancouver


This role will support and enhance the Maximo 7.6 system, including integrations with other enterprise systems, and will be part of a wider Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) development team working on software enhancements and a major platform upgrade. It requires a highly analytical, solutions-oriented professional with strong technical expertise and business process knowledge to support Maximo enhancements and enterprise transformation initiatives.


Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years ' experience in business analysis or project management.
  • 5+ years' experience implementing enterprise-class applications & software development in medium to large organizations.
  • 5+ years of experience working within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Acquire to Retire business domains (IBM Maximo experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT disciplines, including Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud-based Computing (SaaS), and Cybersecurity.
  • Proven ability to oversee and manage IT systems/programs, ensuring service delivery and proactive stakeholder engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate business needs to determine software enhancement requirements, potential solutions, and business value to support investment decisions.
  • Develop detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements, workflows, and use cases in collaboration with business SMEs.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify risks, gaps, and stakeholder concerns within the software development lifecycle.
  • Support the design and execution of training programs to equip end-users with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, feedback sessions, and readiness assessments to monitor change adoption and address resistance.
  • Lead enterprise transformation projects and ongoing Maximo asset management enhancements.
  • Define enhancement scope, goals, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with YVR IT PMO processes and documentation requirements.
