Senior Business Analyst to work on technical implementation projects in a Long term care home - 2022-630V-018

Location: Brampton: Hybrid - may require travel between locations

Duration: 6 months Contract

7 hours/day - 35 hours/week

Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with IT and business Project Managers, IT Business Partners, IT divisions within the Region, Regional property management, and clients.
• Work closely with the stakeholders to understand their objectives, vision, business context and priorities, and the associated assumptions and constraints.
• Manage the full life cycle of requirements including:

- Identifying sources of project requirements from diverse stakeholders and employing specific techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, and prototypes) to extract and document requirements from these sources.

- Translating business requirements into technical specifications.

- Identifying any shortcomings, problems, and limitations of existing solutions.

- Working with stakeholders to prioritize and obtain sign-off for requirements

• Conduct business process mapping.
• Map data flows and business processes and create conceptual diagrams. Conduct process improvements when required.
• Support the development of Statements of Work
• Conduct discovery and analysis work on identified business needs and problems.
• Support the development of operational sustainment plans for the many technology systems being installed in the facility.

Must haves:

• 5 years as a business analyst on technical implementation projects.
• Waterfall project lifecycle and of its commonly used methods, processes, and practices
• Proficient with MS Office, SharePoint, Visio and Teams
• Undergraduate degree
