Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior Business Consultant to provide strategic advice and guidance for the implementation a new IT Service Implementation tool.

Background:

The organization is undertaking a significant project to migrate to a new IT Service Management (ITSM) tool. This decision stems from the need to modernize its IT infrastructure, enhance service delivery, and improve operational efficiency. By transitioning to a more robust and flexible ITSM solution, aims to streamline its IT processes and ensure better integration with other systems. This migration will enable the organization to adopt best practices in IT service management, improve incident resolution times, and provide a more intuitive user experience for both IT staff and end-users.

Tasks:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and customization of the ITSM tool.
• Coordinate with SSC to ensure that the new ITSM tool and processes are interoperable with the SSC provided GoC ITSM tool and processes.
• Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Collaborate with other government departments and review their lessons learned from recent ITSM projects to improve the ITSMv2 implementation.

Must Haves:

• Leading IT Service Management teams - 5+ years
• Bilingual - French & English
