Our banking client is looking for a Senior Business Lead to support and guide their RTR (Real-Time Rail) product and operations team on a high-impact project.

Duration - 6 months

Work Mode - Remote (Toronto only)

This is a part time role, 25% allocation

This role will involve overseeing business and operational process development, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, and supporting the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) role in delivering key project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Team Support: Provide support to the RTR product and business teams, ensuring that the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) role is effectively managed and aligned with project objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and prepare discussion materials for internal and external meetings, including those with Payments Canada, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
• Process Documentation: Guide and direct the BSA in drafting and refining business and operational processes, incorporating inputs from various stakeholders such as BCP, Product, VMO, and Operations, to be captured in the Business Operations Manual.
• Service Catalogue Development: Provide expertise and research-based guidance to the RTR product and operations team on pricing strategies for Service Catalogue items, ensuring industry best practices are followed.
• Timeline Validation: Support the BSA in engaging with stakeholders to validate and document target fulfillment timelines for inclusion in the Service Catalogue.
• User Manual Development: Oversee the completion of the Self Serve User Manual and Onboarding User Guide, ensuring that they meet project standards and user needs.
• Project Planning: Ensure that the BSA role adheres to the Integrated Project Plan, meets established time commitments, and follows the Deliverable Management or Work Product life cycle.
• Deployment Readiness: Collaborate with the technology lead to co-create and document the approach for deployment and readiness activities for the RTR Exchange.

Must Haves

• Payments Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in the payments industry, particularly with RTR (Real-Time Rail) systems and operations.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong experience in engaging and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including external partners.
• Leadership in BSA Role: Ability to guide and support the Business Systems Analyst role, ensuring that all deliverables are met according to the project plan.
