Our Vancouver client is seeking a Senior Delivery Lead for the Innovation team to manager and support with converting innovative concepts into production-ready products. - 0123380
12 months contract, strong possibilities of extensions, 2 days/month in office and as needed basis
Overview: This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and an experimentation mindset to lead initiatives from ideation to delivery. As the Innovation Delivery Lead, you will work closely with cross-functional teams comprising engineers, designers, data scientists, business stakeholders, and other technical resources to deliver groundbreaking software applications and solutions. This role is instrumental in turning innovative ideas into tangible results that align with organizational goals and create significant value for our stakeholders.
Must Have:
- 6+ years experience working as Delivery Manager or Agile Project Manager in IT, including demonstrated expertise in software development, with a focus on delivering Agile projects in large-scale organizations.
- Strong familiarity with modern technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
- Proven experience working in innovation teams or experimental projects, with a successful track record of delivering novel and impactful solutions.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams, managing complex dependencies and prerequisites.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within highly complex and integrated technical ecosystems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field.
