Senior Digital Business System Analysts for an ongoing large-scale transformation initiative.

Duration: 12 months

Location: Hybrid, 1-2 days in office (Toronto, Kitchener)

Hours: 8 hours/day

Our firm has been engaged to lead and deliver a major platform modernization program for one of Canada’s largest insurance companies. You will be working in one of our delivery PODs to overhaul our client’s legacy platform into a newly enhanced digital experience.

What will you do?

• Plan and execute detailed system requirements phases and identify, track, and resolve business systems issues
• Assess, research, analyze, and document stakeholder needs, using the recommended or selecting the appropriate information gathering and/or modelling technique to elicit requirements
• Contribute to successful completion of project objectives with high quality, within budget, and on time
• Review test plans scenarios, cases as needed
• Support Development, Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing activities
• Build and maintain a repository of reusable system documentation
• Identifying risks, dependencies, assumptions and constraints
• Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business unit partners through all project phases

What do you need to succeed?

• 8+ years experience as a business systems analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects
• Strong technical background to coordinate platform enhancements with software vendor(s) and internal business partners
• Experience working in the financial services industry, insurance preferred
• Experience working on projects related to: Digital, omni-channel, API or vendor integrations
• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and stakeholder management
• Strong collaboration with business, IT and operations stakeholders, plus system SMEs
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related field
• Agile Framework experience
