Our Calgary Midstream and Utilities client is looking for a Senior IT Desk Side Support Technician with Windows OS & Microsoft 365 experience to provide on-site technical support to end-users in a high-demand environment.

Office located downtown Calgary. Hybrid office environment with occasional travel to remote sites. On-call availability for emergency support.

Must Haves:

  • 8+ years as an IT Desk Side Support Technician
  • Windows OS & Microsoft 365 (O365) experience
  • Remote support tools & Network technologies (LAN/WAN)
  • IT hardware (desktops/laptops, printers, mobile devices)
  • IT inventory management systems

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile device issues.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems and application software.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support for end-users.
  • Manage IT inventory, tracking hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Collaborate with IT teams for system upgrades and deployment of new technologies.
  • Document support activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Train users on best practices for hardware and software use.
