Our public sector client is seeking a Senior JavaScript (Backbone.js, AngularJS, jQuery) with strong expertise in UI/UX design and database management to provide technical support and development for the Assessment and Tax Business Unit Applications (Req 380)

Work environment: 37.5 hours/week. Candidates need to be on site in Calgary when needed

Must haves:

• 7+ years' experience as a Full Stack Developer with web and mobile frameworks such as Backbone.js, AngularJS and jQuery
• 7+ years' experience in UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) design discipline
• 7+ years' experience in database technologies, database, and scripting such as Oracle or SQL Server
• 7+ years' experience with programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio
• 7+ years' experience in planning and design, implementation, testing, supporting and documenting custom software development or package application solutions

Nice to have:

• Previous work experience with municipal, or other government organizations.
• Previous experience with Municipal Assessment systems.
• Experience in business application support roles vs. software development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and development for the Assessment and Tax Business Unit applications.
• Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements.
• Provide technical support to business analysts, application users, and IT service providers.
• Support maintenance activities and resolve incidents related to business applications.
• Address issues related to business system integrations and ensure smooth operation.
