Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Project Manager to create business requirement documents and user story backlog for a new case management system.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in or lead working sessions with clients, business analysts, system architecture, developers, and IT Security resources to elaborate needs and clarify requirements, business models and processes
  • Perform assessment and document Business Processes Models, including business process modeling using BPMN methodology and capture data flows
  • Perform Gap Analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement between current and proposed business processes for the IT system and the client
  • Document deliverables using the project’s standard tools such as Dynamics CRM, JIRA, Confluence, GIThub.
  • Work with various client subject matter experts to identify and document business and system requirements
  • Elicit requirements from business partners and document those requirements
  • Creation of process and information flow documents
  • Document current workflows and processes
  • Gather functional requirements from affected stakeholders across the communications branch
  • Engage the subject matter experts (SMEs), as directed by PMs
  • Facilitate and lead meetings and discussions with various stakeholders
  • Work closely and collaboratively with IT Project Team
  • Provide work including draft deliverables for inspection when requested
  • Provide drafts for review and incorporate any feedback before finalizing deliverables
  • Provide verbal and written briefings to IT Project Team including internal stakeholders (e.g., senior management)
  • Review the project schedule and provide recommendations for any revisions
  • Attend meetings as required and team briefings to provide status updates and raise issues

Must-haves:

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within the Federal Government
  • 5+ years of experience building BRDs as a Business Analyst
  • 2+ years of experience creating documents using Dynamics CRM, JIRA, Confluence, GIThub
  • Enhanced Reliability clearance


Nice-to-have:

  • Business Analysis experience on application development projects
  • Experience working on a case management solution
