Description
Our public sector client requires an Enhanced Reliability Cleared Senior Project Manager to support the modernization projects as well as the maintenance of its legacy systems in the public sector.
Responsibilities:
a. Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of Risk Management, Integration Management, Change Management, Planning and Scheduling, Quality Management, and Earned Value Management.
b. Manage the project during the development, implementation and operations startup by ensuring that resources are made available and that the project is developed and fully operational within the previously-agreed time, cost and performance parameters.
c. Identify resource needs and work with the Technical Authority to assign individual responsibilities.
d. Define and document the objectives for the project; determine budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities, and terms of reference for the project team.
e. Prepare plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems; work with a variety of project management tools.
f. Create and execute project work plans and timelines and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
g. Organize and facilitate team and stakeholder meetings; communicate effectively relevant project information, stating any problems in a form capable of being solved.
h. Document, evaluate impact of, seek approval for, and communicate project changes and updates to appropriate team members.
i. Formulate statements of problems, establish procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new or modified project elements to solve these problems, and resolve or escalate in a timely fashion.
j. Provide documentation as required to support approval processes.
k. Ensure documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
l. Report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle.
m. Manage the project through to closing

Must Have:
- Experience managing an IM/IT project during at least two of the following phases: planning, monitoring, execution and/or closing.
- PMP or PRINCE2 or PMI-ACP or PSM.
- Experience managing Grants and Contributions system development projects
- Agile experience
- Governemnt experience
