Our utilities client is looking for a Senior Project Manager with EH&S (Intelex) experience to lead the implementation/upgrade and enhancement project while working with vendors and cross business units (myHSEQ)


This role requires you to be onsite 3 days/week at Calgary or Edmonton offices


Must Haves:

  • 15+ years' experience as a Project Manager experience on technology projects, including software development, system integrations, and enterprise system implementations.
  • Experience with Intelex or similar EH&S platforms, with at least one full implementation project from inception to delivery
  • Expertise in creating detailed project plans, budgets, and resource forecasts.
  • Experience with MS Project, reporting tools such as Power BI, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Must have strong financial reporting capabilities
  • Ability to manage third-party vendors and their deliverables, including contracts and SOWs.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for the Intelex upgrade and enhancement, ensuring all activities align with organizational goals and operational needs.
  • Forecast resource requirements and track progress against project milestones, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, maintaining alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the OCM team and Business SMEs to support the design and execution of effective change management strategies, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Confidently communicate project updates, risks, and milestones to executive stakeholders, translating technical information into actionable insights for business users.
  • Balance technical implementation with operational business processes to ensure the project delivers measurable business value.
  • Adhere to governance frameworks and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and variance to leadership teams.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, OCM, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
