Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Python Developer to implement AI-solutions using Azure and Large Language Models (LLMs) including Microsoft GPT

Calgary- based client. Candidates can be 100% remote working MST hours. 37.5 hours/week

Must haves:

• 5+ years as a Software Developer with experience in Python and a background in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Microsoft GPT (PT-4, GPT-4o, GPT-4o mini, etc)
• Experience with chatbot architectures (RAG, GraphRAG, etc)
• Experience with Azure AI services (Cognitive services, Azure Functions, Azure Bot Service, Bot Framework SDK, App Service, etc)
• AZ 104 certification

Nice to haves:

• Software development experience in C# and Java
• Great written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI-driven solutions leveraging LLMs, GPT-based models, RAG architectures, and vector databases.
• Develop scalable AI applications using cloud services, primarily Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, other Azure AI services/APIs and AI/ML pipelines.
• Optimize the developed AI solutions/models for domain-specific use cases.
• Integrate AI models with existing enterprise systems, APIs, and databases.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and software teams to build end-to-end AI solutions.
• Ensure model security, data privacy, scalability, and compliance with industry best practices and ethical guidelines.
• Stay up to date with advancements in AI, NLP, and cloud technologies.
