Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior Technical Architect to develop a Service Delivery Strategy for an application portfolio.

Background:

The purpose of NC2SS is to help ensure that CF (Canadian Forces) personnel are provided with the information and support necessary for the planning and execution of current and future operations through the use of a wide range of operations on various network at the unclassified and classified level

Tasks May Include:

• Application and software architecture design, assessment, and testing services in both Linux and Window based systems.
• Assess each application’s mandate, set of requirements, user community, adequacy of the technical solutions and architecture in meeting business and application requirements for each application.
• Analyze and provide consideration for the use of Open-Source Software.
• Identify policies and requirements that drive out a particular solution.
• Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions to meet business problems that are viable within the limitations imposed by DND’s technical and high security environment.
• Develop system data maps, define data standards and interface requirements when accessing or providing information to external systems.
• Identify requirements for solutions capable of operating within strict bandwidth limitations, for use by deployed and shipboard users.

Must Haves:

• Technical Architect IM/IT - 3 years
• DevSecOps (Gitlab, Azure DevOps, etc.) - 3 years
