Our client is seeking a SR Application Support with Dynatrace experience to support a deployment project


Position Type: 6-month contract (possibility of an additional 6-month extension)

Location: Preferably Edmonton, Alberta, with 1-2 days per week onsite; remote candidates will be considered.

Start Date: December 6, 2024

Closing Date: November 29, 2024, 4:00 PM


Must-Haves
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with implementing and managing the Dynatrace platform.
  • Dynatrace Master Certification.
  • At least one engagement where the candidate led a team responsible for deploying and configuring Dynatrace.

Nice-to-Haves
  1. Additional Certifications and Skills:
  • Health Checks: Performed proactive health assessments of customer environments to ensure Dynatrace usage, adoption, and growth.
  • Reporting: Built Dynatrace reports based on application tagging.
  • Product Recommendations: Advised customers on Dynatrace product enhancements.
  1. Operational Projects:
  • Created web apps and automated reports.
  • Supported Dynatrace One and ACE Services with projects and tasks.
  1. Technology Proficiency:
  • Installed Dynatrace One Agent on Linux, Windows, Solaris, and AIX systems, as well as SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Implemented Dynatrace across OCI, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms.
  1. Performance Optimization:
  • Conducted end-to-end Dynatrace APM implementation.
  • Developed performance test scripts using protocols like HTTP/HTTPS.
  • Analyzed application performance using Dynatrace APM.
  1. Teamwork and Support:
  • Experience as a team member working with production support teams, providing solutions to operational issues.
  • Good knowledge of Dynatrace AppMon.
  1. Communication and Collaboration Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Emotional intelligence, adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
  • Deploy and support Dynatrace instance in collaboration with the Operational Support team.
  • Ensure proper configuration, implementation, and optimization of the Dynatrace platform.
  • Provide recommendations and proactive measures to enhance performance monitoring and usage.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and automate reports and dashboards.
  • Support daily operational tasks and contribute to projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and production support using Dynatrace APM tools.
