Our client is looking for a SR Developer specialized in Oracle CCS to support a Meter to cash program.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Oracle CCS Developer to join the Distribution Utilities’ Meter to Cash Program. This Program will replace CIS, the legacy tariff billing system with Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS), the Software as a Service (SaaS) offering of Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and Meter Data Management (MDM) products.

In this role, the successful candidate will work directly with the Reporting and Data Conversion teams M2C Program. The role is critical to supporting the M2C Program Implementation efforts as it relates to Oracle CCS development work.

Location

The position is expected to be performed remotely. The client recognizes the difficulty of sourcing a qualified resource locally, hence remote performance of the below responsibilities is acceptable.

Responsibilities

· Attend functional workshops, if necessary.

· Work directly with the Reporting and Conversion Teams, understand the business requirements, and translate them into detailed technical design documentation.

· Work on the development of complex requirements and technical designs.

· Resolve software issues/ bugs in an application and also resolve integration issues across multiple applications.

· Work on configuration and extensions within Oracle CCS

· Optimize and develop existing and new batch job processes

· Optimize and develop data loading scripts into Oracle CCS from a Data Conversion stand point.

· Provide analysis and solution for defects and assist with cross-team debugging and defect triage as necessary.

· Provide support during system testing, user acceptance testing.

· Assist in the clarification and resolution of issues identified during the design and development phases.

· Assist with mock conversion, dress rehearsals, and deployment activities, as necessary.

Must Haves:

· 4 Years relevant experience in Oracle Utilities Application: CC&B (Customer Care & Billing), C2M (Customer to Meter), MDM (Meter Data Management)

· Experience in design and development

· Good Programming knowledge in SQL or PL\SQL

Nice to haves:

· Experience in Groovy or object-oriented technical design and development

· Background in business and requirements analysis and technical design

· Understand SDLC (Software Development Live Cycle) in waterfall or agile project

· Excellent communication and technical skills

· Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
