Sr Devops Engineer with extensive Kubernetes and Gitlab experience to build large scale Kubernetes Clusters for our large telematics client

Location- Remote

Duration - 1 Year

Responsibilities-

• Contribute to defining strategic direction, planning the roadmap, and synthesizing feedback to ensure team success
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle management of enterprise IT applications, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
• Take ownership and act as a technical lead on complex/long-term IT Application Support related projects and contribute to their implementation, including defining scope, requirements, communicating project progress, challenges and solutions, while ensuring timely delivery
• Lead the integration of new applications with existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and data flow
• Ensure applications are optimized for performance, security, scalability, and user experience
• Build relationships and act as an SME/technical escalation point to other IT Applications Specialists and other business units for application-related matters
• Work closely with business owners in order to understand business needs and manage expectations of users being supported

Must Haves-

• 7+ Years experience building large scale Kubernetes clusters
• 8+ years of experience in technical, functional & system support of IT applications
• 5+ Years experience with Gitlab Runners
• 7+ Years experience with Docker Containers
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD design and infrastructure, on GitLab
• Advanced administrative knowledge of GitLab in a self-hosted or SAAS environment
