Our public sector client is looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analysts to help lead project initiatives through to delivery and act as point of contact for the Vendor

Victoria based - hybrid model (2 days onsite; 3 days remote); 1 year contract with potential to extend

Must Haves:

• 7+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst/Functional Analyst
• Experience reviewing and analyzing procedures documentation
• Ability to understand mainframe logic and rules
• Project Management / Leadership experience
• Data flow / Workflow documentation
• Knowledge of with IT Operations, Change Management, Release Scheduling, Mainframe Experience

Nice to Haves:

• Functional testing and verification experience
• Knowledge of with IT Operations: Networking, Firewalls, Identity and Access Management, Service Health Monitoring, service and system deployment, application delivery, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Lead project initiatives through delivery and act as point of contact for the Vendor over key components of solution.
• Analyzing, planning and developing schedules in coordination with sr. team members and the PM.
• Organize and delegate tasks for deliverables, reviews; and coordinate to ensure vendor managed service partners are doing the same.
• Establish training processes for delivery team members as a part of transition to operations.
• Provide regular updates and risks to the Delivery and Project Leadership team
• Coordinate with PM, and track all milestones documented in vendor contracts MSA and associated SOW).
• Coordinate with vendor (vi PM and Technical Project Lead) to ensure integrated project plan has necessary activities to hit production /point-of-service go-live dates.
• Coordinate with resource manager to validate project plan activities with available resources and skill-sets.
• Ensure coordination with test plans/test execution.
• Ensure both project and operational RACI responsibilities are being adhered to within the appropriate scope.
