Sr. C# (.NET) Developer to develop and maintain enterprise level applications

Our valued client is looking for a Sr. C# (.NET) Developer to develop, implement, and maintain enterprise level applications.

An initial 1-year contract (with possibility of extension). Hybrid work model - 2 days a week on-site in Ottawa, ON

Tasks include:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications in our technology stack, including .NET, C#, and SQL Server, to support the organization's digital platforms
• Work closely with product managers, business analysts, quality assurance and other developers to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet the project requirements
• Develop unit tests, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products
• Participate in the continuous improvement of development processes, adopting best practices in Agile software development
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the software architecture, APIs, and development processes to support ongoing operations and future development

Must have:

• Prior software development experience using .NET, C#, and SQL Server
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
