Our valued client is actively seeking a Senior BO (Business Objects) Data Analyst to support multiple projects for the data migration of Oracle database to Snowflake.

Initial contract until end of March 2025 - strong potential for extension. Work environment is hybrid (2 days onsite) in Montreal or Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Use SAS for advanced data manipulation, statistical analysis, and transformation tasks.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract data from Oracle databases, transform it according to business requirements, and load it into Snowflake.
• Design, develop, and manage reports, dashboards, and analytics using SAP BusinessObjects (BO).
• Create and maintain BO universes (semantic layers) that map to Snowflake and other underlying databases.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective BO solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAS, BO, and Snowflake.
• Optimize SQL queries and data retrieval processes to support efficient report generation and data analysis.
• Work closely with data architects, analysts, and other developers to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Document processes, methodologies, and configurations related to SAS and BO development.

Must-have Skills

• Snowflake experience required
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BO), including universe design, report development, and dashboard creation.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Knowledge of IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and experience with data warehousing, particularly with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
• Available to work occasionally outside normal business hours (weekends, evening, etc.), during deployments
• French language skills
