Sr. Systems Engineer to lead the migration from MS Exchange On-Premises to MS Exchange Online

Our valued defence client is looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer to lead the migration from MS Exchange On-Premises to MS Exchange Online.

Tasks include:

• Lead and implement new architecture for the migration from MS Exchange On-Premises to MS Exchange Online, working closely with the PM and other project resources (eg: Cyber Security)
• Address existing use of DMARC/DKIM/SPF as part of the Exchange architecture and either maintain or move to alternate cloud-based solutions during migration to Exchange Online
• Maintain Cisco Secure Email Gateway (IronPorts) as part of Exchange architecture during move to Exchange Online
• Address tickets (Level 3) that the Service Desk and the other more junior team members cannot resolve
• Work with other teams to ensure Exchange is working as expected (Storage, Backup, Network, Server, Database)

Must have:

• Reliability clearance with the Federal Government
• Prior experience supporting a migration from MS Exchange On-Premises to MS Exchange Online

Nice to have:

• Experience with DMARC/DKIM/SPF (currently used as part of on-prem Exchange Architecture, and will need to continue using them or move to alternate cloud based solution in move to Exchange Online)
• Experience with Cisco Secure Email Gateway (IronPorts) (currently used as part of on-prem Exchange Architecture, and will need to continue using them or move to alternate cloud based solution in move to Exchange Online)
• Experience with TrendMicro (currently used as part of on-prem Exchange Architecture, and will need to continue using them or move to alternate cloud based solution in move to Exchange Online)
• Experience with Skype & MS Teams (currently running both simultaneously, and the move away from Skype in favour of Teams is currently in progress)
