Sr. UX/UI Designer to support a major transition for our Public Transit client's digital platforms - RFS-2024-PVMD-937

Duration: 6 months-1 year and increments with renewals up to 2 years

Location: Hybrid - Downtown Toronto (2x/week)

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development of the client website, B2B website, e-ticket integration, and enhancement of their mobile app.
• Develop and maintain product design wireframes, interaction design, visual design and prototyping to produce innovative web and mobile experiences.
• Leverage research from research and usability testing to identify and resolve customer pain points.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and strategies enhance user experience and customer satisfaction on digital channels.
• Ensure all digital platforms are designed to be customer-centric, scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Communicate designs, interaction models and end-to-end experiences to developers and cross-functional teams; present designs and proposals to key stakeholders and management.
• Keeping current with industry trends and transit partner products, global trends and advancements in digital technology.
• Knowledge of digital accessibility standards and practices.

Must haves:

• 10+ years of experience web/app design and development, with a focus in financial institution, public sector or transit industries.
• 10+ years of experience in design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or like)
• 8+ years of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and mobile design (iOS & Android)

Nice to haves:

• A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
