The impact you will have:
As the Manager of Sales and Operations Planning and Analytics at Softchoice, you will lead a high-impact team responsible for data-driven decision-making, target setting, and operational excellence. Your strategic vision will shape the organization’s growth trajectory, optimize sales effectiveness, and enhance operational efficiency. You’ll collaborate with executive leadership, synthesize complex data, and drive actionable insights.

This role is hybrid with the expectation of working in the Toronto office 1-2 times per week.

What you will do:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Define and execute long-term sales plans in alignment with organizational goals.
    • Identify trends and define growth opportunities for the sales organization.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of high-powered analysts.
    • Set performance goals, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Sales Effectiveness and Capacity Planning:
    • Develop sophisticated sales and operations planning models, KPI targets, and quotas.
    • Assess capacity, sales coverage, and customer segmentation.
  • Decision-Making and Analysis:
    • Make critical decisions based on data analysis, market intelligence, and risk assessment.
    • Allocate resources, and optimize financial performance.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Optimize territory planning, guidelines, and resource allocation.
    • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for sales compensation and rewards.
  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Create insightful presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
    • Present findings, progress updates, and recommendations.

What you bring to the table:

  • 5 years minimum of work experience in business strategy & operations, sales planning, business analytics, or consulting
  • 2 years minimum of people leadership experience
  • Experience working with Sales or Customer data in a B2B technology environment
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills with sound business judgement
  • Ability to work in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Intellectually curious and loves to teach, coach and mentor
  • Highly structured but comfortable with ambiguity and dynamic environments
  • Highly skilled in Excel with experience building models
  • Experienced Power BI user or equivalent experience with visualization tools
  • Strong PowerPoint and communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform will be beneficial
  • Experience with Statistical analysis in R or Python is a plus
