What You’ll Do
- Perform peer edits to maintain consistency among writers.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve overall quality.
- Ensure documentation adheres to company standards and guidelines.
- Edit and publish knowledge base articles.
- Edit release notes for clarity and accuracy.
- Design and write online help.
- Use SOTI products to learn and gain product expertise.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and other internal teams.
- Assist in the development and implementation of documentation processes and best practices.
- Be the ‘Voice of the User’ within the company.
- Work independently and with limited supervision.
Qualification:
- 3-5 years as a technical writer, technical editor, or related technical experience.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in mobile, Cloud, client-server, or other enterprise technologies.
- Experience in or knowledge of Mobile Device Management as well as Server and Cloud infrastructure.
Technical Requirements:
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for web-based documentation.
- Knowledge of XML editors such as Oxygen XML Editor.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Microsoft Word
- Camtasia or similar video recording software.
- Jira
