In summary, here's how you'll spend your time:
- Define project requirements with stakeholders and plan all related activities.
- Draft proposals, budget, and present projects for approval.
- Plan, coordinate, and approve designs.
- Research various components and make purchase requests.
- Manage subcontracting involved in the project.
- Oversee the implementation of the project in the plant.
- Collaborate with various internal departments such as maintenance, production, commissioning, manufacturing engineering, etc.
- Communicate project progress through dashboards, indicators, or during governance meetings.
- Ensure that the needs of internal or external clients are met and that they are satisfied with the proposed solution throughout the project.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant field.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- We have two positions to fill: one junior profile and one with relevant experience.
- Knowledge of machine safety standards.
- Experience in equipment development.
- Knowledge in industrial mechanics (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automation) is an asset.
- Familiarity with SolidEdge or other CAD software.
- Functional English to communicate with our English-speaking clients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project planning tools.
- Results-oriented.
- Strong planning and communication skills.
