Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented People Insights Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our core operations, including ticket management, conducting in-depth analysis for various people and work initiatives, and maintaining our HR reporting systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a proactive attitude, always eager to learn and embrace new challenges. What will you do?
People Insights Delivery:
Developing new dashboards and storyboards, particularly in One Model
Automating or optimizing cyclical reporting processes for our business partners
Ad-hoc reporting for external reporting (e.g. certifications, public statements, etc.)
Delivering analysis on our employee engagement surveys
Researching and learning about analytics techniques and methodologies
Operational Support in our People Analytics Systems (One Model and Workday):
Investigating and resolving issues, while documenting solutions and providing suggestions to mitigate the same issues from resurfacing
Educating end users to use tools effectively, either by administering training or creating learning content
Performing detailed data validation to support new data integrations and ingestion
Managing security for our users by creating new data roles, assigning security, and auditing changes
Maintaining compliance with our governance controls and audit processes
Ticket Management:
Using JIRA and ZenDesk to create and manage tickets
Triaging new requests and prioritizing tickets for the team
Managing our team’s shared mailbox
What do you need to succeed?
Experience supporting a reporting program or HCM system. Bonus points if you have experience working with Workday or One Model
Proficient in data analysis and using reporting tools to manage large datasets
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies
An understanding of security management principles and practices
Familiarity with governance controls and audit processes
Ability to develop insightful dashboards and craft stories with data
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and work collaboratively across functional teams

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
