Senior Analog Layout Design Engineer

This position requires a highly motivated and experienced layout designer to work with our mixed signal analog design team on collaborating and integrating leading edge custom designed IP into our final product for next generation DDR/LPDDR/HBM IP. We are seeking a high-energy, results driven engineer with a take charge leadership style and attentiveness to design performance, quality, schedule, and current and future customer needs. You would leverage your strong understanding of circuit layout as well as knowledge of bipolar, CMOS, passive structure, and interconnect failure modes.
Key Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree with demonstrated 2+ years’ experience in a product managing role for mixed signal IP
  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills is a must
  • In depth familiarity with layout of analog and mixed signal CMOS circuits
  • Experience in development of DDR subcircuit layout (ie. RX, TX, PLL, etc…)
  • Experience in the following layout design techniques:
    • Optimization for signal integrity (ie. clock/data routes, differential routing, shielding)
    • Implementation of ESD design constraints, latch-up risk mitigation
    • Familiarity with custom digital layout (logic cell layout and associated logic path routing)
    • Layout design for reliability (ie. EM, IR, etc…)
    • Design to optimize for parasitic layout effects (ie. matching, reliability, proximity effects, etc…)
    • Familiarity in design for porting techniques
    • Full custom analog layout design tool: Custom Compiler (or equivalent)
    • Verification tools: ICV, Star-RCXT, PERC (or equivalent)
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and/or Automotive applications is also helpful
  • Accustomed to working in a cross-functional, globally diverse environment and at all levels of an organization
  • Available to travel worldwide
