You Are:We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative digital design engineer with a solid knowledge of ASIC development flow. As an ideal candidate, you are passionate about technology and thrive in a dynamic environment. You have a strong theoretical and practical background in high-speed serializer and data recovery circuits, and you are eager to contribute to the development of the next generation of NRZ and PAM-based SerDes products. You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively interact with different design groups and customer support teams. Your self-motivation and proactive approach enable you to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high design quality. You exhibit the ability to produce excellent results both independently and as part of a team. Your experience in RTL coding, synthesis design constraints, and resolving STA issues makes you a valuable asset to our team. What You’ll Be Doing:- Designing and verifying complex digital blocks for high-speed SerDes products.
- Writing block-level test-cases, including constrained directed random tests.
- Collaborating with mixed-signal design and verification teams to develop high-end mixed-signal designs.
- Developing and maintaining RTL code, modeling analog blocks, and writing complex system-level test-benches in Verilog.
- Defining synthesis design constraints and resolving STA issues and gate-level simulation failures.
- Interacting with Application Engineers for customer support and resolving technical issues with Analog and P&R teams.
- Contributing to the development of cutting-edge SerDes products that drive the Era of Smart Everything.
- Enhancing the performance and capabilities of our silicon IP portfolio.
- Helping customers integrate more capabilities into their SoCs faster and with reduced risk.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality mixed-signal designs from specification development to functional and performance testing.
- Providing innovative solutions to complex design challenges and advancing our technological capabilities.
- Mentoring and guiding junior peers, sharing your expertise and knowledge to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- BSEE or MSEE plus a minimum of 2 years of digital design and verification experience in the industry.
- Experience in writing block-level test-cases, including constrained directed random tests.
- Proficiency in Verilog and VCS, with a good knowledge of back-end synthesis tools DC/PT.
- Knowledge of digital design methodologies, ATE production testing, DFT insertion, synthesis constraints, and flows.
- Scripting experience in Shell, Perl, Python, and TCL is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting between different design groups and customer support teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high design quality.
- Creative problem solver with the ability to resolve issues in clever ways.
- Team player who can produce excellent results as a team contributor.
- Experienced in guiding junior peers and networking with senior internal and external personnel.
