Principal Project Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Engineering Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver project(s) that span across the globe. This role involves managing Silicon IP projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a background in semiconductor design and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Representing the product line both internally and externally
  • Reporting on project status to key customers, working with R&D teams to plan new developments including updates and enhancements to existing products.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and schedule project timelines.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Ensure quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
  • Report regularly to management and all stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • Requires a degree in Engineering or Applied Science (or equivalent) and 8+ years working experience in a related field.
  • Previous experience communicating with and managing customer expectations.
  • Previous experience implementing or supporting Mixed-Signal IP preferred and/or experience in an SOC, ASIC or other semiconductor development environment.
  • Previous program or project management experience. Ability to use and/or knowledge of standard project management tools.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in adhering to quality management system processes and procedures considered an asset.
  • Ability to navigate, manipulate files and use tools in a linux environment considered an asset.
