Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement data integration solutions using Cloverleaf interface engine
  • Support and monitor live interfaces
  • Troubleshoot issues as needed as part of production support or testing
  • Coordinate network changes with technical team
  • Support other internal and 3rd party systems as needed
  • Work closely with the stakeholders such as the application teams, technical teams and internal/ external members to ensure that interfaces meet the needs of the end users
  • Proactively suggest/implement interface solutions to improve interface performance
  • Participates in Clinical and Technical Design Sessions as applicable
  • Participates in remote on-call support rotation as required

Requirements:

  • University degree or combination of equivalent education and work experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in managing interfaces with a strong understanding of HL7
  • Must be familiar with operation of interface engine, preferably Cloverleaf
  • Knowledge of TCL (Tool Command Language) to support integration and scripting tasks
  • Epic Bridges certification is an asset
  • Experience with clinical EMRs with a knowledge of how data is interfaced between various clinical applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work with a team, skills to understand, debug and define next steps
  • Knowledge of hospital network and / or system architecture and TCP/IP protocols
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Office, Project and SharePoint
  • Well-developed communication skills: oral, written and interpersonal
  • Ability to organize activities involving the various stake holders to design, configure, and test interfaces.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software, systems, and processes
  • Highly reliable, able to persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles and work under time pressures

Additional Qualifications and Desirable skills:

  • Familiarity with Office 365 tools and services, including SharePoint Online, to enhance collaboration, document management, and productivity within the team
  • Ability to create automated workflows and custom applications in Power Automate and/or Power Apps to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Experience with Source code management, using Git/GitHub for version control, collaboration, and maintaining code repositories
  • Understanding of modern web technologies, web services and RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as ECS (Elastic Container Service), ECR (Elastic Container Registry), and other AWS tools to support cloud-based deployments and infrastructure
  • Proficiency with .NET Core for developing scalable, high-performance applications
