Inventory Control Coordinator

Our well-established client is looking for a candidate to fill an Inventory Control Coordinator position. This is a full-time temporary contract, for 6 to 12 months, with possibility of permanence, starting as soon as possible.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm – Hybrid position

Salary: 23$ to 25,5$ per hour, according to experience

Localization: Saint-Laurent, QC – Parking on site

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Inventory Control help desk issues to resolve identified inventory issues and discrepancies.
  • Review and process daily inventory adjustments to maintain inventory accuracy between systems.
  • Investigate and identify root causes of inventory variances and initiate action to rectify the issue.
  • Analyze warehouse cycle count / physical count procedures and perform daily audit to ensure results have been updated systematically and recorded accurately.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory levels across multi channels.
  • Prepare weekly / monthly reports for key executive meetings that provide actionable insights vs. just the data, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prepare quarterly reports and presentations to communicate financial insights and recommendations.
  • Document internal processes and workflows including SOP’s and training guides.
  • Manage and organize files/ key documents in share drive.
  • Participate in quarterly and yearly inventory audits and year-end physical count procedures to ensure compliance with established controls and procedures.
  • Provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors as required.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls for inventory management to mitigate financial risks.

Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Fluently bilingual English and French
  • Previous experience in finance roles related to inventory management or supply operations.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
