Our well-established client is looking for a Purchasing / Invoicing clerk. This is a full-time, temporary position within a company renowned for its high-quality work.
Location: Montreal, Cadillac Station.
Salary: 50 000$ per year.
Schedule: From 8 :30am to 4 :30pm, Monday to Friday, 35h per week. In-person only.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
The position of Purchasing / Invoicing Clerk is a crucial role within a company. Responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, they ensure smooth operations by maintaining accurate purchase orders and processing invoices for payment. Managing vendor relations and filing precise records, our ideal candidate is someone our client can rely on to keep the purchasing process efficient and organized.
A list of the tasks this position requires can be found below:
• Reception tasks.
• Manage purchase orders and vendor communications efficiently.
• Process invoices accurately.
• Maintain accurate records and perform inventory reconciliations.
• Communicate with clients and suppliers in both languages (spoken and written).
• Support the finance and operations teams as needed.
• Experience with major retailers an asset.

Requested skills

We are looking for someone autonomous but able to work with a team, with a great eye for details and a work well done. This person will be able to stay focused on their tasks, has great organizational skills and can sustain pressure easily within established deadlines.

• Fluent in spoken and written English and French.
• As this position requires frequent interactions with international vendors, the English language is considered necessary and will be used daily at an advanced level (CLF: CVI, art. 46)
• Experience in purchasing, invoicing, or similar roles preferred.
• Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite are a must.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
