Manufacturing Technician

Thorlabs is a leading designer and manufacturer of photonic equipment for research, manufacturing and biomedical applications. As a vertically integrated company, we design, develop and manufacture our product portfolio of over 20,000 items.
In Montreal since 2014, Thorlabs Canada ULC now has 60 employees and focuses on the development and production of a wide range of fiber-based optical components for next-generation imaging devices and advanced instrumentation. We also machine a wide range of products using femtosecond lasers.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician - Evening Shift

A permanent, full-time position (40h), Monday to Friday, evening shift (3.00pm - 11.30pm)

Responsibilities

• Manufacture fused optical structures.
• Record manufacturing data in the database.
• Participate in the development and improvement of new products and processes.
• Document parameters related to the manufacture of optical structures.
• Carry out small and medium-scale improvement projects (process, equipment).
