CONDITIONS

  • Schedule: 35 hours/week with a flexible schedule.
  • Location: Lévis.

MISSION

  • Ensure that financial statements and accounting entries are accurately completed on time and that the information provided is reliable. Deliver high-quality accounting and financial information to assist management in making informed decisions.

DESCRIPTION

  • Perform various accounting tasks:
    • Prepare month-end and year-end files.
    • Prepare financial statements and monthly analysis reports.
    • Record monthly entries in the general ledger.
    • Participate in budget preparation and monitoring.
    • Manage the follow-up of sales commissions (follow-up, payment, etc.).
    • Work closely with the Finance Director and support him in his role and responsibilities.

  • Manage accounts payable:
    • Process payments for both foreign and local suppliers.
    • Handle supplier inquiries and follow-ups.
    • Create and maintain supplier and customer accounts in the accounting software.
    • Collaborate with the accounting technician responsible for invoice entry.

  • Monitor cash flow:
    • Daily cash flow monitoring and management.

  • Provide support for accounts receivable:
    • Process payments and assist with collections as needed.

  • Combination of education and experience: DEC in Accounting with 4 to 5 years of experience OR a BAC in Accounting with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in an accounting firm (an asset).
  • French: Advanced level.
  • English: Intermediate/advanced level required due to the need to communicate verbally and in writing with English-only business partners.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think logically with data.
  • Be conscientious, autonomous, versatile, thoughtful and responsible.
