The Coordinator, Corporate and Community Partnerships (Road Hockey and Cricket), plays a role in achieving The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation’s fundraising goals and in advancing The Princess Margaret’s mission to create a world free from the fear of cancer.

The Coordinator, is responsible for supporting the plans to maximize fundraising revenue for the events. This role very importantly involves implementing and executing the ongoing plan and will have a focus on the team-based events portfolio, which includes Road Hockey and Cricket to Conquer Cancer.

In addition to being a strong team player, the Coordinator, is responsible for:
- Support the achievement of the annual event strategies and fundraising goals
- Account Management of Road Hockey and Cricket to Conquer Cancer teams, ensuring participants/teams are added accurately to the fundraising platform (Raisin) and participants are provided with their fundraising link and user information
- Prospect and recruit NEW Teams (corporate and community), and Sponsors; you need to be very comfortable ‘asking’
- Steward the existing supporters of the events
- Provide support to the Events with a view towards continual reinvention to maintain our position as a leading Peer-to-Peer Fundraising event organization
- Work with our event logistics Agency
- Be a team player that supports the events
- Assist participants in reaching their fundraising goals by providing tools, resources, and personalized support, ensuring they feel empowered and connected to our cause.
- Develop an expert understanding of the Road Hockey and Cricket events to effectively engage with key stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information and support.
- Respond to participant inquiries with empathy and professionalism, acknowledging and resolving issues while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Collaborate with event teams to execute orientation and recruitment initiatives, enhancing participant engagement and recruitment efforts.
- Offer event participants data, online support, and overall enthusiasm for their involvement with PMCF and their efforts in raising funds for cancer research.
- Provide constructive feedback and contribute to the development of internal processes related to events and fundraising.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently across the organization in both written and verbal form, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
- Maintain a flexible mindset, allowing you to adjust to new tactics and strategies as they emerge.
- Undertake other projects and tasks as assigned to continue advancing the team's objectives.
